A Virtual Language Exchange

The Mixxer is a free educational site hosted by Dickinson College for language learners and teachers to find a language exchange via the free voice over IP phone program Skype.

Overview

A language learning match-making service designed to pair students who want to learn languages together. Students are paired with a native speaker and in return they help each other learn the desired language. Beyond speaking, students can also exchange writing to help with written language learning.

How to Use this Resource

Provide a URL to link the content to your course shell. Be sure to include proper citation.

Students can find a partner individually, or teachers can pair their students with an entire class.
